Providing branding at your event no matter how big or small the event is, is vital. I have listed some ideas of how to brand your event below.
Branding is an important part of marketing. Try to incorporate some (or all) of these branded items at your next event:
Pull up banners / vinyl banners
These are simple, cheap yet effective branding tools for your event. Make sure the information on the banner is largely an image, with your logo and / or simple words that sum up what your business can provide.
Banners are great for giving an overall impression of the brand and what you can offer your clients. So don't fill it with too much text or information.
Table / pod
If you have the choice and can budget in a pod, it's a neat and efficient way to brand your exhibition space. Or if you are given a trade table, you can order a vinyl banner and hang it across the front of the table - again just with images, your logo and key words. That way you can decorate the table nicely and use the space efficiently.
Pile up beautiful branded gift boxes on your table, and when interested parties come to talk to you, you can hand them a gift box with a sample of your product (if applicable), or just gifts (eg chocolates - which are always popular).
That way, your client has something physical to take away with them that is branded and of value. They are sure to look at it again after the event and if it's a beautiful high quality gift box, they may even keep it and reuse it. This is not only great exposure for your brand, but they are sure to think of your company first when they next need your product or service.
If you can sponsor the event gift bags for the day, it will give you great exposure - as people love receiving a gift bag at an event. Not to mention they carry it around after the event - giving you more brand exposure as each delegate makes their way home after the event.
Branded notepads and pens are subtle but useful items that can be used at the event but can be taken home by the delegates, and most likely used again, rather than thrown away once the event is over and the delegate is going through their goodie bag and deciding what to keep and what can be binned.
Presentation folder for documents
Presentation folders are a very professional way to hand over a pile of documents if this is something you will be doing at your event. If you put all the documents in a beautiful branded presentation folder and hand it over to your potential customer, it looks neat and professional and the client is less likely to just casually bin it after the event.
As with everything you do with your business, it reflects on your brand. Make sure that all events are well thought out and planned, and that you have thought our your branding options.
Remember to include giveaways with your branding on them so you can gift something of value to potential to clients to take away and remember you after the event.
