Can you send me a price list of your standard bags and boxes?
We do not stock standard bags or boxes - therefore we do not have a price list. We are different in that we truly customise to your unique requirements. You can tell us the size, colour or packaging / bag style or design you require. We can also customise with your logo, images or design. Every customer is different! That is why we do not stock standard bags or boxes.
What are your minimums?
We can offer short runs:
Paper bags: 250 minimum
Boxes: 250 minimum
If you require less quantities that these, please feel free to discuss with us and we will see how we can assist.
Where are you located?
We have moved from our Surry Hills, Sydney office since the Pandemic. Now our postal address is PO Box 351 Kiama NSW Australia, our admin staff work from home offices or co-working spaces, (our factory is still based in China). We do not have a showroom or shop. However we can send you samples of bags or boxes for you to feel the quality of our products.
How do I order? / How does it work?
Please see our "How it works" tab for more detailed information. We customise bags and boxes (paper only) to almost any requirement - you tell us the size, colour, design and specifications you require.
Can you design my logo? / Can you create the design for my bag / box?
Sorry we do not offer a graphic design or packaging design service. If you need a logo created, we can put you in touch with Graphic Designer who will be able to work with you to create the design you want.
If you have an uncomplicated box packaging or bag design, we can normally offer the template (die line) creation as part of our service. For example, if you want a classic shaped boutique bag, our manufacturers can create the dieline template for your bag design.
In some cases we can assist placing your design on the dieline. For example if you have the high res artwork file and its a simple artwork / logo placement, we can assist. However if you need a design created on the dieline, you will need to engage a Graphic Designer to assist you then send the template back to us. If you dont have a Graphic Designer on hand, we can recommend some designers who have worked successfully with our other clients.
If you are after an unusual shaped bag or box, you may be required to provide us with a die line template. A Packaging Designer would be able to assist you to achieve the shape you want. Our partner company Xpressions Design Studio can assist you with a Packaging Design. We will put you in touch.
You are located in Australia but you manufacture overseas? Why?
Due to lower machinery and maintenance costs, factories overseas are able to purchase and maintain superior machinery with the most up to date technology: that means we are able to keep pricing down for you, we can supply almost any style box or bag, with almost any style printing, with very small quantities - something that would not be possible for an onshore factory. The overseas factories we work with are the best in the business and supply packaging and bags for major brands and produce excellent, high quality bags and boxes.
How much does delivery cost?
We provide delivery costs (and all other costs) in your quote to ensure your order is within budget from the start of the process.
Due to the nature of our business, our bags and boxes are manufactured overseas. Unfortunately the costs of shipping from overseas and within Australia, import taxes, duties, tariffs and documentation fees (where applicable) are very high. We are constantly on the search for good shipment and courier deals to keep the costs down for you.
Costs can change on a regular basis, which are totally out of our control and are charged to us by third parties.
The most effective and fairest way for us to price delivery for you is to charge you delivery at cost. Our outsourced courier supplier takes care of all the documentation and courier service. Sorry, we cannot use your preferred courier company.
How do I pay?
We will invoice you, and you can pay via EFT.
Can I get a sample before I place the bulk order, and how much does a sample cost?
Yes, you can request a sample to be made up before you place your bulk order. We will advise you of the sample cost on your quote. Usually a sample is $230+GST.
What type of printing do you offer?
We offer most styles of printing. Ask us about the printing style you require and we will advise you if we can do it or not.
How long does it take for my boxes or bags to get delivered?
Custom Printed Bags & Boxes manufacturers bags and boxes overseas. Unless otherwise specified, please be prepared to wait approximately 4 - 8 weeks for your product from the date you have supplied us with your final design specifications and paid the invoice.
From the time you request a quote, to submitting your artwork, paying for the sample, receiving the sample, checking it with the product or Management team, making any changes if necessary, then purchasing the bulk order; which, depending on the size of the shipment, could be anything from 15 working days to at least 4 - 8 weeks.
It is important you tell us in writing the date you need the bags or boxes by at the start of the process, so we can let you know if we can assist you or not.
How can I track my order once I’ve paid?
Please contact Custom Printed Bags & Boxes, and quote your Customer Reference Number (found at the top right of your invoice).
Why do I have to give you a date I need my bags / boxes by?
Custom Printed Bags & Boxes needs to know from the start of the project - upon our first contact with you the latest dates are that you can receive your products (bags / boxes). Because we source from overseas, sometimes it is not possible to deliver your products on time if you have a short time frame.
What are your guarantees?
We want our clients to be happy, spread positive word of mouth, and become repeat customers. We will do our best to supply excellent quality goods to your unique specifications, however we cannot guarantee that we can supply packaging (bags or boxes) to all your requirements; but when we do supply packaging to you, we guarantee it is excellent quality.
We work with overseas manufactures who do their best to create the bag or box to your exact requirements, but can only make bags or boxes to the machine's capabilities. We cannot guarantee that our manufactures can produce all bag or box sizes or designs. A longer time frame, of at least 3 months, will mean that we can discuss and try different bag or box types, until we can achieve what you require, as our manufacturer's machines have limits on size and design capabilities.
We will work with you and communicate with you throughout the process, and do our best to supply the bag / box size, colour and design you require, but we cannot guarantee we can supply every bag or box size or design. If we cannot achieve your packaging design during your sample (or most often during the quoting phase), we will refund the sample cost to you (if you have paid for one).
Before your products are delivered to you, we will receive photos from our manufacturers to ensure it fits the requirements (eg colour, design placement, printing). The products will be sent to us at Custom Printed Bags & Boxes in Sydney Australia to complete the quality control process. However there is no guarantee the products will arrive in good condition from the courier company. We will not pass the products onto you if they have been destroyed in transit. We will re-order at no cost to you. Therefore it is important you order well in advance of your event, as we use a courier company to courier the goods - as such we have no control over their storing or transit processes.
We guarantee that our products are excellent quality, and we will not supply you with inferior bags or boxes.
What kind of bags do you supply?

What are rigid boxes?
Rigid boxes are boxes that are made of thick board that you generally cannot lie flat.
What are flat pack boxes?
Flat pack boxes are boxes that arrive to you flat. You make them up into boxes yourself.
What colours do you supply?
We can cater to almost any colour of box or bag. Please supply us with a Pantone or CMYK colour code, and we will advise you if for some reason we cannot supply it.
Can you do silver or gold foiling on your boxes and bags?
Yes. Foiling costs an extra for the set up fee. We will advise you of the cost on your quote.
Do you supply matt and glossy bags and boxes?
Yes we have matt and gloss options for most rigid boxes, flat pack boxes and bags.
Do you only supply your products to Australia and New Zealand only?
Yes, currently we only supply to Australia and New Zealand.

- We will provide you with a quote. If you are happy with the quote, you can either place the order for the bulk or purchase a sample before you place the bulk order to test it to ensure it meets all your requirements.
- Due to the customised nature of your order, you cannot cancel or change anything in an order once you have submitted payment. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.
- The order will be placed with our overseas factory as soon as we receive payment. You will receive an email to advise of this, and expected delivery time (for example an order of 250 bags or 250 boxes takes approx 4 weeks).
Can you design my logo? / Can you create the design for my bag / box?
