As the festive season approaches, it's a good time to reflect on your business or past year's marketing campaign successes - and that means reflecting on your best clients, and organising gifts for them well in advance of the Christmas gift giving season. As a Business Owner, it's the clients that you enjoy serving, that continue to purchase from you, and spread positive word of mouth, that are the reason for your business success - so it's important to recognise that and show your appreciation for their custom or support. As a Marketing Manager or as an Office Assistant, this is a great time of the year to start planning and organising corporate gift giving to your high value clients, suppliers and / or distributors to thank them for their custom and loyalty. Start getting organised now, a few months out, so its not a mad dash in December, only to find you have missed out on what you really want to give, and have to settle for whats available or in stock. If you plan it well in advance, you have more options and more chance to create something really special and memorable, that you will be proud of gifting to your VIPs. You can show your appreciation for your clients / customers / suppliers throughout the year by sending out a beautiful branded corporate gift - it doesn't have to be at Christmas! In fact, it might even be a good idea in some cases to send your clients and suppliers gifts other than at Christmas time to really stand out from the crowd. So if you're too busy this time of the year to organise something, don't fret: there's plenty more opportunities in the first half of next year! For example, if you know your clients are coming up to a busy part of the year, or if you want to promote a new product, or invite them to an event: you can reach out to your current customers to remind them of your existence and communicate not only your gratitude, but also your products or services that can make their lives easier or better, with a corporate gift. What about making someone's day sparkle in the midst of winter by sending them a 'Christmas in July' hamper or fun gift? Or a 'survival kit' box of sweets for your clients in the Finance or accounting industry, at the end of financial year (when you know they're putting in very long hours at the office!) CORPORATE GIFT IDEAS: I've listed some examples and ideas of corporate gifts below, including how you can present them: 1. Hamper full of goodies presented in a sturdy, high quality branded box. Its a delight to receive a beautiful packaged box full of goodies. Make sure your brand name, logo and even a message is printed on (and even inside) the box. When the box is high quality and beautifully designed, it will reflect how much care you've put into your hamper, and how much you appreciate your client. 2. Wine box and accessories displayed in a luxury gift box, with your branding, is a really beautiful and luxurious present for your high value clients to receive. You can present your wine bottle and accessories beautifully in the box by incorporating a custom insert, which could also be printed in your brand colours. 3. Mailer box 'survival kit' for your clients at a time of year when you know they are doing it tough (eg end of financial year for Accountants) - to put a smile on their faces! People love a mix of goodies to pick through, and try out. If you're running low on funds to fill your hampers, why not place a call out on a platform like SourceBottle.com.au, where your can ask for free products to fill your hamper with. Of course you need to ensure the products are appropriate, and fit in with your brand image (eg if you are a luxury product or service supplier, you wouldn't want to be filling your beautiful branded mailer box hamper with cheap, boring products.) You can place a 'call out' for high end, luxury products from suppliers that want to reach your target market. It really can be mutually beneficial for everyone! 4. Flat pack box with small treats, or cute miniature rigid box to make your clients feel special! Your giveaways don't have to be huge, like an overflowing hamper! A little gift in the right hands, is just as precious and well received as a big hamper full of goodies. This is a great idea when sending out a new product in sample form, that you wish to introduce to your client, but also want to gift it to them in a professional way - and not just to look like you're sending it out for them to 'test'. Rather, it's showing them you have thought of them and wish to gift them your latest product. 5. A gift that isn't your product but relates in a way to your brand value. For example, we supplied Christmas gift boxes for Chanel, who were gifting their staff a beautiful gold coloured Christmas decoration. Everyone knows Chanel doesn't sell Christmas decorations, but the decoration was beautiful and high quality, and gifted in a luxury custom branded gift box, with custom foam insert and gold foil print (as seen below): You know your customers best - so you will know what will delight them! Would a small pink box with embossed gold logo and a small but expensive gift inside impress and delight them? or would a colourful and fun mailer box bursting with goodies delight and impress them more? Also, think about incorporating luxury materials into the boxes, to give it a more high end look - like a silk overlay or velvet interior; if that's the look your clients would appreciate and be attracted to. Also think about your printing options - a gold or silver foil suits the Christmas season, and you can make your packaging even more luxurious by incorporating embossing or spot uv print, to make it even more unique and attractive. If you are going to send your clients a corporate gift, make sure you do it well, or don't do it at all!
Ensure the contents of the gift is just as beautiful as the box and packaging itself. Packaging is a very important part of the corporate gift.

ABOUT US: Custom Printed Bags & Boxes can work with you to supply you with the perfect solution for your VIP gift box, promotional boxes, packaging supplies, event bags or retail bags for your special bespoke bag and box needs. Email us here with your bag & box requirements. Custom Printed Bags & Boxes specialises in Handover boxes for the real estate industry. We have supplied numerous handover gift boxes for new developments all over Australia. We custom make handover boxes to suit each new development's needs, in terms of branding on the box, size and style of box, and custom cut foam inserts, to hold keys, garage remotes and other items. We can even supply a separate rigid box within the box, to hold keys. FOAM The foam insert below was custom cut to the clients specific requirements, including key slots, garage remote and USB cut outs. Because not all apartment owners were going to receive all items, our team suggested we supply the client with the foam pieces slotted back into the cut outs, so when the gift box is handed over, the sections with nothing in them, were kept covered in foam. This ensured that the apartment owner didn't think there was something missing in their handover gift box, and provided a neat and tidy look. BRANDING & PRINTING We can supply handover boxes with almost any branding or print requirement. Designers can indicate if they require embossing, debossing, spot uv, foiling, matte or gloss lamination, and can print on any section of the box. We are very flexible with printing requests. We will supply the die line for your Graphic Designer to place the artwork on. With such flexibility, you can supply your customers with truly beautiful and unique custom branded handover boxes that they will be glad to keep. We look forward to hearing from you about your handover gift box requirements. We will work with you to find the perfect solution for your needs!
